"The Backstreet Boys are back again with their new album "Black and Blue." Now with the Imported CD you get your favorite guys plus two extra songs. "What makes you different (makes you beautiful.)" And the acapella version of "All I have to Give." I love the Backstreet Boys and I have always in enjoyed their music but Black and Blue truly expresses and shows how much the boys have grown to men, musically. Their sharp songs and upbeat tunes truly express the heart and determination they put into the album. This cd is a giant step into greatness for the boys. It is far better than any other cd they have created so far."

"When I purchased this album the first thing i noticed is that the guys had written 6-7 songs on the album, which was quite pleasing considdering the excellence of songs written on earlier albums by the guys too. I'll explain the songs in order for you. *The call- uptempo, kinda spanish groove. heavily r+b. *Shape of my heart- superb ballad, a new theme to the lyrics *Get another boyfriend- Uptempo hip-hip feel to this. *Shining star- quick drum beats and cool melody. *I promise you- Excellent ballad. some powerful ad-libbing. *Answer to our life- Philosophical and great. powerful harmony. *Everyone- dedicated to fans. very strong + emotional. uptempo. *More than that- my favourite. intense harmonising and balladry. *Time- Beautiful song written by the guys. produced by babyface. *Not for me- More boybandish. less r+b and soulful as others. *Yes I will- emotional ballad. lots of soul. beautiful finalé. *It's true- piano based song. melodious and sweet. *What makes you different- Superb song. Brian Mcknight-esque. *How did I fall in love with you - Tender, slow, and soft ballad. *All i have to give [acapella]- this proves the guys can sing to the standard of groups like boyzIImen if not better. **all in all this album is superb. Although I do believe that with more emphasis on powerful harmonies and balladry their next album will be perfect. This shows growth within the backstreet boys, i cant wait for the next album."

"the boyz are back, better than ever. "black and blue" is in my opinion the best recording they ever did, though "millennium" was already awesome. i like "get another boyfriend" and "more than that" best because they show the bsb from their best side, at cool uptempo songs and romantic ballads. i don't think they have grown much, though, like many people say. they're still the backstreet boys. a MUST HAVE for every bsb fan!!! and of course, for everyone who likes good music *smile*"
