"As a fan of Kooper's music, I was pleasantly surprised at this, instrumental offering! A great mixture of get-down,blues,jazz,and rock. Kooper's playing like he's having the time of his life, and the enthusiasim shines right through! First rate sidemen, make this a crisp, enjoyable jam! Put this one on with a crowd of people, and you'll be sure to turn heads, and get some toe-tapping going! This is one you'll love playing over and over! Definately a winner! If your'e a fan of Kooper,or if you never heard him, TRY THIS ONE OUT! Your'e sure to love it!!!"

"This is a beautiful return of one of the greatest pure music minds in the business. Al still has the touch for meshing blues with jazz, r&b and soul with rock. As always Big Al surrounds himself with superb musicians of the highest quality and the results are simply wonderful. This is a must own for every pure american music buff. My advice is to buy this one and the Soul Of A Man, Live and crank them up for an evening of historic, exciting and butt kicking music. Keep on doing it Big Al."

"OK...Ill have to admit it, I was glad to hear a different voice on the 2nd Blood Sweat and Tears album, after trying to hear how Al could add to the great music he created on that bands first Album. Now with this release some 30+ years later, you get the matured musical talent of a true artist, and dont have to listen to the voice that few every grew to appreciate. This is a beautiful example of listening to a musician that has lived through the amazing times of his rock and roll years , to produce an intelligent and fun cd full of inspired Kooper. Great and appropriate title, it is a full of rekooperation and rejunvination and , well, just damn good music. (PS, Whatever happened to David Clayton-Thomas anyway ?)"
