As a lover of several different kinds of blues...I have to ask...what kind are you looking for???? Delta, Chicago, gritty, smooth, jazzy, rock... BB King, Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Eric Sardinas, Robben Ford, Bonnie Raitt, Keb Mo, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray???? I have a fairly extensive collection and am in the process of weeding out duplicates...I'll be happy to search if given some sort of direction.

I am a big fan of contemporary blues singers and guitar players. I like artists such as Susan Tedeschi, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jonny Lang, etc. Would like some ideas of other artists in the same genre/vein that I might enjoy. Any ideas? Mona

OMG, I think I found somebody older than I am.  (poke-poke)

Sweet Tones sounds familiar.  I grew up on the West coast so maybe that is why I don't recognize some of those.

I so appreciate Robin's question - What kind of blues? Am going to start another topic thread to get the ball rolling so I and others can get even better feedback.

Ramona, have you checked out Kenny Wayne Shepherd? He's good and has recorded with SRV's band Double Trouble.

Check out this other group that Kenny Wayne Shepherd participated in  The Rides.   He joins Stephens Stills - Crosby Stills & Nash supergroup fame  who is another great guitarist, plus Barry Goldberg a big time blues keyboardist, who played with most of the blues greats in Chicago since the  '60's.   They released 2 albums.  2013 and 2016.

I've got hundreds of Blues Compilations from Robert Johnson up until today. Most of it is 50's, 60's and 70's. I don't have time to list them all but if you are looking for a specific artist or timeframe, PM me and I think we can do business.
