He is part of the production team at O.C.F. Records, which he co-owns with Mr. Al-Yeru Clarke J.D. and Mr. Byron McCray, MBA, J.D. He has performed in showcases and concerts in New York, Florida, Virginia, and Michigan. He learned to play the piano by ear and groomed his soulful sound while belting out gospel traditionals. Young also plays the guitar, bass, and drums. Although Young DeBarge is best known for his distinctive classic DeBarge sound, he is a standout.
