Great Mozart Performances for the price of a song.

"The Franz Schubert Quartet's recordings on Nimbus licensed to Brilliant Classics are a steal. Also included are the early quartets by the Sonare Quartet, and Mozart's first effort, KV80 by the Sharon Quartet. I found this to be an unbeatable bargain. You don't have to believe me either since the Penguin Guide gives their highest rating to the Franz Schubert Quartet and a rosette for the Sharon Quartet's effort. The only weaker link is the Sharon Quartet's version of the early quartets and these performances are better than average. If someone desires the entire output of Mozart's String Quartets, here is an opportunity to acquire the entire 7 CD set for the cost of one premium disk. I found the performances to be absorbing, the sound excellent and the music fantastic. Some of Mozart's early quartets are quite excellent and there are little masterpieces throughout these lesser known works. I can recommend this to any music lover without reservation."
