"This was a moving soundtrack that went along with the movie. One Morricone better soundtracks. It is equal to the good the bad and the ugly and the mission. If you liked those soundtracks then you will undoubtly like this one."

"Morricone's Burn! soundtrack is absolutely fantastic for the time of the film's release. Today, its excelent quality, still mantain its position in the main artery of majestic soundtracks. Many of the tracks are literally, a magic carpet ride, back to a historical and tragic era of African slavery and colonialism periods in the new world."

There's too much boring drumming

"I can recommend a few tracks from BURN. Pauline Kael described the THEME FROM BURN as "syncopated Gregorian chant". Which isn't too shabby a description. THEME FROM BURN features an electric piano that's played very percussively, with a lot of attack-and-decay. INTO THE FUTURE is a moody ambient choral masterpiece, but unfortunately it includes cacophonous woodwinds that really set my teeth on edge. GENERAL JOSE DELORES is a beautiful tune with a sweet majestic organ (if I can say that without sounding pornographic)."
