CD ReviewsNothing compares to Sinead O'Connor's version... Stephen Cabral | New England | 04/12/2005 (3 out of 5 stars) "This is a collection of 15 Prince covers. My favorite is Cyndi Lauper doing "When U Were Mine". Other strong selections are Sugar Walls by Sheena Easton (there just aren't enough songs about vaginas out there), "The Sex of It" by the perfect party band to cover Prince...Kid Creole, and The Bangles taking "Manic Monday" and totally making it their own. Other choice cuts are by Melisa Morgan, Stephanie Mills and Joe Cocker. The remainder is pretty mediocre covers from Tina Turner, Living Colour, Nona Hendryx, among others. Biggest disappointment is Nothing Compares 2 U by MXM when nothing compares to Sinead O'Connor's version."
