"At last a lot of this early 70's has been re-released on CD. Some of it is very hard to come by elsewhere, some of it is common, but as a collection this is as good as they come. You don't have to be a UB40 fan to enjoy these songs, but if you do own the LOL set then you will soon realise UB40's mastery, and the wonderful originals they had to work from. 25 originals of the 39 tracks contained on the three volumes of LOL make this incomplete, but a good start. So turn the sound system up - blast the bass - and get taken back to a time when only hippies had long hair and Rasta-men were considered rare."
