Great performance, poor arrangements

"The good:
Four pretty string players and a skilled pianist play some of the more intriguing Genesis tunes. The track list is excellent, seeding some of the lesser known songs such as "Looking For Someone", "White Mountain" and "Ripples" amongst the more obvious choices, "Lover's Leap" from "Supper's Ready" and "Los Endos".
The bad:
All of arrangements seem to follow the same template. The intro is played along with the first verses and bridge. Then, rather than go into the longer instrumental sections which virtually define early Genesis material, the arranger opts to repeat the verse or bridge again. This has the effect of making many of the songs seem disjointed and repetitious, an approach that will surely annoy hardcore fans of the band.
Recommend renting first."
