My dad found this CD in a bargain bin somewhere back in 1995, and it has become a part of my childhood. I remember listening to the CD in our old apartment's living room and dancing to it. I would play along with everything Ronald suggested the "Magical Radio" listeners should do. Nowadays, it's a nice nostalgic album to listen to, but it certainly can't be enjoyed by someone my age who never heard it as a kid. The songs that stand the test of time today are "Do Wah Diddy Diddy", "Aba Daba Honeymoon", and "Where Did You Get That Hat?".
All the songs on the album were written by Barbara Fallon, Rich Seidelman, and Gary Fry (the latter of whom produced the album). It starred the vocal talents of Jack Doepke as Ronald, Russi Taylor as Birdie, Frank Welker (also known for his work as Scooby-Doo and Barney Rubble) as Grimace, CW Wolfe as Hamburglar, and Larry Moran ans Mike the Microphone, plus 16 other kids playing the part of Ronald's "27 friends".
If you have small kids (under 12), I reccommend getting this CD for them. They'll have a blast.
