"The songs by Bobby Wade, The Nu-Luvs, The Vegas, Lawrence and The Arabians and others are quite nice but all suffer from terrible remastering. The vinyl records used for transferring these songs onto CD were obviously in terrible shape and (as such) the music suffers. I recommend this only to the most diehard fans of rare and obscure soul oldies- all others are better off avoiding this horrible-sounding CD (although I admit I've yet to run across these songs on any other CD)."

"I'm trying to find something good to say about this CD? Sorry no can do.
Well, 18 songs that isn't master to CD well at all. Listening though a good stereo system and top of the line Sennheiser 650 headphones is nearly a task above and beyond endurance. Most if not all songs recorded from noisy and crackly vinyl records. Good lord its bad. The pitch(speed) is also wrong through most of the songs
All the song and all the groups (if there were actually more than two groups) sounded the same, save track 18 by Lawrence & The Arabians and I'd almost swear it was Smokey Robinson in the lead part singing his 'Ooh Baby' hit. But that's it and that song is filled vinyl reminiscence.
Best to save your money
