CD Reviews'Archives Of Space'-various artists(Cleopatra/PurplePyramid) Mike Reed | USA | 10/03/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "One thing about Cleopatra and their associated labels,like Purple Pyramid is that they SURE do know how to put together a GREAT sampler/various artist CD,like this one.I guess the main reason for that is to let us space/kraut fans here in the U.S. a chance to hear underground bands that we probably would otherwise be unaware of.For example,before I got this disc,I've never even heard of the Swiss/German experimental krautrock band Brainticket.NOW,I have all but one of their releases.The same goes for some of the other kraut rockers,like Guru Guru,Cluster and Amon Duul II.Who have a cut on this CD.A few U.S./UK bands show up on 'Archives...' as well like Farflung and the Magic Mushroom Band.Also wanted to mention this release has a very cool cover as well.Very nice."
