But feel comforted knowing that you have joined a growing (although rather dubious) list of great singers who have (for one reason or another) gone unnoticed: Beverly; Trina Broussard; Jesse Powell; Lathun; Charisse Arrington; Cindy Mizell; Tina Moore; Phajja; Nicole Renee; Tina Arena; Jordan Hill; Rahsaan Patterson; Debelah Morgan; Peggy Blu, etc. Maybe one day we will wake up and learn to love substance over style, talent over flash. Then maybe the Britneys, Mandys, Brandys, et al will be relegated to where they belong - the trashcans of our memories."
