Seduced by the Seductive Sounds of Teknotika CD

"This is a great introduction into the world of Detroit techno artist Gary Martin aka GIGI GALAXY. This release features a great selection of Teknotika records releases. "Interview with an Alien" lifts dialogue from an old Outer Limits episode entitled "The Galaxy Being" to some great rhythms and melodies (pick up the 12" remix if you can find it). "Shake It" brings to mind the sounds of AUX 88 and other Direct Beat related artists. "One Step Beyond" is a nice spacey introduction that's perfect for starting off or ending a mixed CD. There's one track from Belgium's DJ Valium and another track by Degorce aka M&M's in Paris that slow the flow of this disc. Great packaging as a bonus with a nice cover that would make Martin Denny or Les Baxter smile."
