The CD has 16 selections of recognized songs performed by a few of the best musicians in New Orleans today. Many visitors to New Orleans look for this style of music in the nightclubs or on Bourbon Street and have a very hard time locating it anywhere. The cover has an original watercolor done by a local artist, Misha Ambrosia, and the insert card has a beautiful black and white photo of Pirates Alley beside the St. Louis Cathedral taken by, David Hansen, the groups leader. CD ReviewsGreat music from New Orleans 12/15/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "If you are looking for a fantastic New Orleans Jazz/Mardi Gras type CD this one is great. The music is exceptional and the cover compliments the CD so well. The cover is a watercolor done by a local New Orleans artist. I would like a large copy to frame! I saw this band perform live in New Orleans and they are one of the absolute best. Every jazz festival should grab this band fast!"
