"Based on the previous review I thought I was in for a real treat. Sorry to say this album was about as bland as I've heard. Yes the children's voices are wonderful, but all the songs are slow, kinda sappy and sound alike. The songs from Lilo & Stich were incredible but now it appears that's more due to Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu wonderful song and lyric writing ability. What a creative person he must be (along with his original hula style). If you really liked the music from Lilo & Stich maybe the'll pair Mark up with the choir again for the Sequel!!!!"
Good, BUT...

"My son loved the music from Lilo & Stitch, so I saw this CD and thought "What a great idea for a Hanukah gift!" Imagine my shock when I heard the songs start in about the "son of G-d." I quickly scanned the liner notes and quite a few of the English songs were pretty heavily Christian. I would have appreciated some sort of warning. The music is cute, and the CD will be regifted to a Christian friend. If you aren't a Christian, or Christian music just leaves you cold, don't bother with this. If, however, you're a faithful Christian who'd like something with a bit of multicultural appeal, go ahead and pick this up."
Can't praise this CD enough...

"I bought this CD on the assumption it was as good as the Kamehameha Schools Children's Chorus' absolutely magnificent work on the Lilo & Stitch Soundtrack. I am far from disappointed. In fact, it was better than I ever imagined. The beautiful voices of the Chorus evoke emotional responses I have never experienced before. Especially tracks such as "Ua Mau", "We Make a Rainbow", "'O Ke Aloha", "Ho'ala Hou E Kamehameha", "Song of Praise" and, well, I'd have to list all of them. They are all some of the greatest I've ever heard. Emotional, relaxing, just brilliant. I can't give the kids enough credit for the marvellous job they have done. Do yourself a favour and buy this CD. You won't regret it! Trust me!!! And, no, they're not paying me to say this. I haven't felt the urge to write a review about any CD I've bought before, so, to get me to write one, it has to be for something exceptionally special. This is, without question, that special album. Mahalo to everyone involved!!!"

"This CD was absolutley amazing! The chorus was great, and the songs were great too! I dont know what Shawn Reagan was talking about, but this CD certainly has a quality that others don't, and I think that it is a good quality. I also enjoyed their music with Mark Ho'omalu, which I thought was just amazing as well. This group certainly has done a great job, and will hopefully have a great future ahead of them!"

"Unless you have visited Hawaii, you may not have heard of the Kamehameha Schools before.
Perhaps you came accross the name if you have the Disney Lilo and Stitch sountrack CD (the Kamehameha Schools Choir sing Rollercoaster Ride, Mele no Lilo and We make a rainbow).
The children are great, the songs, some in English, some in Hawaiian are relaxing, inspiring. The CD sleeve reports all the lyrics to the songs and also an introduction to each song, its meaning and whom it may be dedicated to.There are songs dedicated to love, friendship, the land of Hawaii, school leaving children, families, teachers.
Although the CD may apply mainly to the children's families, it is also true that in the concept of Aloha (love) and Ohana (famly), we are all a big family, despite the colour of the skin or religious believes and the Hawaiian cousins express this beautifully in the songs.
