"Although greatly under-rated during their time the Hunters, inspired by Dave Sampson, were well ahead of their rivals where guitar instrumentals were concerned. They pioneered over-dubbing, use of echo, and reverse phasing (known in Britain as double-flanging) and the track "The Storm" is a superb, classic example of this. Other tracks such as "How's my Chicks" show their versitility. As to the recording quality, this re-mastered CD is superb, and the bass on many tracks appears better than on the original 45's. If you are a lover of the magic music of the early 60's, this is a 'must' for your collection."
