"i put this cd right up there with mcdonald and giles and the first captain beyond for very very special musical ambieance/ there is no question on the talent of these x jade warrior musicians and one can tell they put much thought to the music and the words/ i have been a great fan from day one of the warrior days and there is no disappointment here/ i have had this cd since its' release and each time i play it; the piece amazes me/ i am hoping that these guys put out another cd soon because if they don't, many fans will be missing out from an enriching experience/ i won't take this one out of the house/ peace to you and buy and experience this talented and unique band//"

"Amazon.com seems to have limited their reviews to 75-300 words now. As a Jade Warrior fan and one who wants to write a comprehensive review of OFF PLANET, I can't comply with restrictions such as these. Please feel free to write to me at oliasdoug@comcast.net for a full review of this incredible CD. No Jade Warrior fan should be without it. I look forward to hearing from you. Peace...."
Excellent release

"this is a natural progression from jade warrior. i liked warrior, but my complaint about them was their inconsistency. i felt musically they were wildly inconsistent from track to track. they seemed a bit directionless. dogstar poets on the other hand, has taken jade warriors vision and made a solid, consistent, well-played cd. david duhig's guitar work is excellent and his vocals are timeless. the fourth track, "turn that wave" is a masterpiece. it's music that sonically builds and builds. if you're a fan of jade warrior and want to hear how they would've sounded, buy this. you won't be disappointed."
