Takes courage to stand up to mobs. These ladies have a lot of talent and their music is a real delight. It's a pity when people allow their opinions to influence their reviews of music.

A real shame with beautiful voices and music combined with political stupidity that ruined their careers.

Some background information for short sighted individuals that only see one side to things and don't understand what free speech really is.

Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines, says Just so you know, we're on the good side with y'all. We do not want this war, this violence. And we're ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas.

In response to the critical comments made about him by singer Natalie Maines in the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, President George W. Bush offered this response, "The Dixie Chicks are free to speak their mind. They can say what they want to say." "They shouldn't have their feelings hurt just because some people don't want to buy their records when they speak out."

The Dixie Chicks will be known as The Chicks moving forward. The country girl trio dropped the word "Dixie" from their name amid the nationwide protests about systemic racism and debates regarding the removal of Confederate monuments. They revealed the new name while promoting their new song "March March" on social media.
