"This album is awesome. New life has been breathed into awesome songs from the past. The Bridegroom Songs are historical since many of them were written by early Pentecostal leaders. The songs on this album come from an era when they weren't caught up with the clichés ("Picked me up, turned me 'round. placed my feet on solid ground"). The lyrics are the most powerful thing. Incidentally, the commentaries are full of revelation.
Everyone will find themselves rocking to the beat at some point during this album. I love the way that some songs have been modernized (tastefully), and others were left in their original forms. One of my favorite songs is "Give me the Word"
There is also a very nice host of solo artists. These songs will be reintroduced into church devotional song services. I encourage any and everybody to go out and buy this album. You will not be disappointed. Their really is something on this album for everybody.
Can't wait for the next album."
