After semi-successful indie releases and the Goth-Post-Punk album Dirk Wears White Sox, Adam changed course and set sail towards the charts. His mixture of Glam, Pop and ethnic rhythms created quite a stir in the press and made him a bona-fide star in the UK. Features 17 tracks including 'Dog Eat Dog', 'Los Rancheros', 'Antmusic' and the title track plus four bonus tracks, 'Antmusic' (demo version), 'Los Rancheros' (demo version 3), 'Human Beings' (unreleased demo version) and 'The Omelet From Outer Space' (unreleased demo). One of the best early 80's albums you never heard

"This album came out before Adam and The Ants had success in the US. The shame is that for many that were exposed to Adam and The Ants because of later releases that were not as good, they never listened to Kings of the Wild Frontier. Big mistake! If you are even a marginal Adam fan stop now and get this truly great CD. A ground breaking sound when it came out that really has never been duplicated. One of my all-time favorite albums that needs to be listened to from beginning to end. Highly recommended for any music fan."
