Great CD! She truly has a beautiful and timeless voice. The songs are entertaining and filled with emotion. "Cold Shoulder" alone is worth getting the CD, I think.

This CD is what I like to call "old faithful". Whenever I am tired of everything else in my collection, I can always resort to this album for a quality listen that never gets old. The lyrics are well crafted and these are some of the best songs to sing along to while you are riding down the road. Most people are probably familiar with Round Here, Mr. Jones, and Rain King, but check out Omaha, Anna Begins, and Time and Time Again for some under-the-radar gems.

Great CD! You can really recognize the band's maturity in the lyrics. There is a lot of energy in this album. The music, as always, it uplifting and masterful.

I'm a big fan of the Skirts. I think they are an excellent indie rock group with a lot of talent and charisma. Seeing them live in Athens was always a treat, and I like to keep their CDs in my car because their albums make great road trip soundtracks.

If you think you would enjoy a combination of The Kooks, The Shins, Kings of Leon, a tinge of bluegrass, and a dash of R.E.M., you'll like the Modern Skirts.

This is my favorite of his albums. Excellent guitar, lyrics, melodies and vocals. I'm not usually a big Mayer fan, but this CD is something different. My favorite tracks:

1. Waiting on the World to Change
4. Gravity
5. The Heart of Life
7. Stop This Train
8. Slow Dancing in a Burning Room
10. Dreaming with a Broken Heart

Cool because it's Steve Martin's life's work on the banjo, but in general, it's a little boring. Pretty flowers is an excellent song, though.

Ben Harper's best CD--which is saying A LOT. He is an amazingly talented musician and he really gets it right on this CD. Beautiful.

Fun dance music. Reminds me of Michael Jackson, but not quite at his level.

This CD is everything thrilling, meaningful, and hilarious in life bottled and leaked into your ears.

Very good CD. I wish the version of "Morning Yearning" on the CD has been the same as the one in the movie (performed by the writer Ben Harper). Other than that I have no complaints. Good, mellow, summery, a little sad, but all in all a good album.

This album is solid on its own. But when you listen to the vast library of The Avett Brother's music, it seems this album is leaps and bounds above the others in terms of maturity. They are no longer a band of troubadours, while they are known best for their wildly energetic live shows (especially when performing in their home state, NC). With this album, they mark their place as professional musicians who can hold their own on a skillful studio album. As a long time fan, I feel like a proud mom watching my babies grow up! :)

I second Carrie's review: Double Awesome. Actually, quadruple awesome because this set comes with four CDs full of incredible, timeless music. I have enjoyed them all, but Disc 2 pretty much stays in my CD player.

This CD has a mix of Dave Matthews Band hits with Tim Reynold's twists on them, which is just some extra guitar work. There are also some instrumental tracks that are unique to this CD. Oh, and this CD includes "Cornbread"--a great track that you can only hear at a concert or on one of the live albums.

This is an interview CD. This is not the new album. The new album is called "Backspacer".

This CD is more than just "Mmmbop". Though young during this CD's release, the Hanson brothers were musically talented and they had help from some of the best in the business. The group's later musical ventures are certainly more mature and technically solid, but this a very respectable debut album, if you can get past the cheesiness of "Mmmbop" and enjoy it for the sunny pop music it is.

Haunting. This is a really beautiful but dark CD.

Melodic pop, but has a distinctive indie rock character. The songs are very mellow, but they're as catchy as any pop songs released around the same time.

Excellent CD. Showcases raw talent. Unpolished and simple, but that's what makes it great.

Absolutely amazing CD. Mind-melting lyrics, matched with incredible vocals and melodies...if you are going to be stranded on an island and can only have one CD and a CD player...take this one!

This CD is perfect to pep you up! I love working out to their music or playing it at a party. As much poppy-fun as the CD is, it doesn't hold a candle to their live show. They bring so much energy and passion for what they're doing, you can't help but dance! I definitely recommend this CD if you like dance-pop and I recommend that everyone see them in concert if you have the chance - it'll be a great time!

Simply exquisite. These men are masters of their trade. If you are not a fan of bluegrass/folk, do not be put off. Mumford & Sons is a band that nearly everyone can agree is just plain GOOD, and defies categorization. Every track is worth listening to, the majority are favorites, and some are destined to be classics. Bottom line: Try it. You'll like it.

The songs remind me a lot of Elton John because they are lively, danceable, and piano-driven, but his voice is nothing like Elton. I really enjoyed this CD. Esp. tracks 1,3,5,& 6. This is one of those CDs that you can listen to all the way through without having to skip any songs, though.

Stadium Arcadium is one of their best CDs. They prove they aren't being left behind with their nineties alternative counterparts with a contemporary CD chock full of great tracks. If you enjoy RHCP's music, this is a must have.

This CD is a little slow and low key, but there are some great lyrics and soothing melodies. I really enjoyed listening to it, and I think it would be a great accessory for a relaxing trip to the beach!

This band is much more than "Stacy's Mom". They are always poking fun at something, but they're more than just a novelty group. I was surprised to find there is actually music on this CD and not just a bunch of teenagers horsing around.
