GREAT alternative music CD, especially if you have read Rich Shapero's book, titled "ARMS From the SEA-A Novel" - that's why this CD has been titled:ARMS from the SEA-The Music". Especially makes great background music, if you are reading, studying or just feeling like grooving to the music. I presume that Rich Shapero has done the music with Orenda Fink singing the songs - both very talented and musical. The more often you play this CD, the better it gets ! ! !

from Amazon: Through the band's first two albums, Thirdimension's epic pop and bombastic garage rock were certainly electrified if not at times electronic. With their new album, Before The End Begins, Thirdimension unplugs (for the most part) and offers enthralling acoustic versions of songs from their two previous albums, a couple previously unreleased new songs, plus some interesting covers. Before The End Begins was recorded in a spectacular old church in Malmo, Sweden, in early 2006, thereby blessed with natural cathedral reverb. This album finds Thirdimension eschewing volume for simple but effective orchestration that truly highlight the songcraft behind their music, and in a candlelit setting built for heavenly harmonies and hushed hymns.

I got it because of the drastically different protest (from Twisted Sister's) of "We're Not Gonna Take It"

This is a fun CD for me, as I was married in 1967. Some folks don't like the radio announcements, commercials, etc. that are part of each song. It gives a flavor of the times but is not for song purists.

Calming ocean sounds combined with beautiful soft music melt away your cares and tensions. You can almost see the gentle waves lapping at the shoreline. Great for falling asleep or just leaning back and relaxing. 1. Gentle waves 2. Endless Sea 3. Northward 4. Current 5. Placidity 6. Horizon 7. Silhouettes 8. Drifting 9. Tranquility 10.
