CD Reviews

This music gets in your blood & makes you want to dance!

"From the varied & intricate drumming to the Eastern tinged melodies, this album is amazing, especially for the group's first! Some songs have seductive rhythms such as "She Beckons". Calling down the Goddesses in "Invocation" gives me chills, & there are tranquil new age pieces for meditation. I also like the Song of Inanna, a tale from legend about a Goddess & her chosen consort. I LOVE this album!"

"THis album is exactly what the tag line states: "Sensual Music for Spiritual Lovers". I cannot count how many times I have purchased this album because I play it so much that I want multiple copies! This is music to meditate by or to set up a romantic and seductive evening by. The vocals are nothing short of mesmerizing and the lyrics tell the tales of goddesses. The invocations can be used for meditations and goddess rituals, while songs like "Beneathe the Veil" and "Veil of Inanna" are to play in the background of romantic interludes. The drum beats are too slow to bellydance to, so if you are looking for a bellydancing album, check out their other album, "Dancers of Twilight", which has a much stronger beat. This is more an album to listen to by the fireplace or candle light."
