"Zedba. THE french group of the year. Generously mixing traditional Arab music with rock rythmics, a good portion of (hip) pop accents and a touch of french "variete", the album is delightfull. Without taking their head off, they find a touching tone, probably because it is simply real. Their sense of humour equals their capacity to hit where it hurts (traduction litterale, si quelqu'un a mieux qu'il m'en informe); and all of this is wrapped into a great terderness, a fabulous "joie de vivre". Quel dommage qu' "essence ordinaire" ne soit pas disponible chez Amazon !"

"I saw Zebda at Esparrago festival in Jerez,Spain. It was such a different sound I had to get the CD. I was not disappointed at all. The mix could be a little better, but it far from lacks in musical talent. Great disc if your into funky/alternative un lableable music. check it out for yourself."
