His sound is a bit like Bare Naked Ladies meets Cat Stevens. (In fact, this CD includes the Cat Stevens song "Peace Train," which translates well into a children's song. My two-year-old son loves it.) I would highly recommend adding Zak Morgan to your CD collection, especially if you're tired of listening to bad, synthesizer-overloaded covers of "Old MacDonald" over and over again on family trips. You won't find that on this CD--instead, you'll find fresh, fanciful lyrics, catchy melodies, and great musical arrangements. If it weren't for the kid-friendly subject matter, you might swear you were listening to your favorite alternative acoustic band."
