"I'll keep it brief. I fell in love with Z-Man after hearing one track, "Z Mutiny". The intro song is also really great. All of it is just really enjoyable. Maybe not an album for everyone, due to its often drug, sex and more drug lyrical content. This is exactly why I loved this album. Few MC's have the guts to spit a line like "I need a new syringe, I need to lose some friends..." He's a lunatic, and it works. Z-Man, keep it up. A really fun album to listen to. I downloaded half of it, then bought it. See, downloading helps. Pass me the hen..."

"Dope or Dogfood might be considered Z-MAN's "debut" album but you can tell that he's been spittin' rhymes for a long time once you hear him. His lyrics are crazy funny and super intelligent. It's like every song is a new adventure and he's your tour guide. I also appreciate that fact that he crosses music genre barriers and just does his own thing. I recently found out that he also does all the drawings for his cover art himself. He is a true talent."
