"In a modern haze of neo-new wave, where throwing synths into the mix is the cool thing to do in the indie scene, YOUR ENEMIES FRIENDS are breaking down those boundaries and tearing off the skinny ties to actually ROCK OUT. From opening track to close, this album tears you to shreds with blistering riffage and layered synth that is both agressive and catchy without being cheesy. The later half of the disc lets you rest easy with a couple beautifully arranged Beatle-meets-The Cure type ballads, only to rise to the ocassion in the end and set you back in your place by throwing you ino the pit."
