2006 issued Japanese edition of the noise rock trio's debut album. From the ashes of the band Breather Resist, the trio of guitarist Evan Patterson, bassist Nick Thieneman and drummer Geoff Paton (less singer Steve Sidoni, who amicably parted ways) entered a recording studio with Chris Owens (Lords) in the producer's chair with the intention of recording a second Breather Resist album. The group quickly realized that they were creating music far beyond what Breather Resist had done and morphed into Young Widows. They proudly wear their influences (Jesus Lizard, Regulator Watts, Hoover) on their musical sleeve. The sound solid, grooving, hypnotic, heavy noise-rock.with large swaths of British postpunk thrown in for good measure! This edition includes the track "Baritone #3", not available on the US equivalent.
