Search - The Excuse, The Singularity :: Year They Finally Split...

Since the summer of Ã"04 The Excuse has been an exciting, driven and loud ass punk band, dominant in the San Francisco scene. They've played up from the rainy wells of Seattle to the heated hell that is Orange County rocking hardest in the Bay Area, thus building their reputation for being "that band". The Singularity, the self proclaimed "longest running failure", formed roughly 10 years ago by three high school friends from Santa Cruz, California. Now in SF, their drunken sound has impaled short catchy tunes into existential anthems. The bands three guiding principles boast that: 1) songs will never be long 2) the writing will always be honest, and 3) that every song will be played like it's their last.
