"This 2 disc set contains all you could want about the music you just had to love if you have ever seen the series. All the background themes by Yasuo Higuchi are there. Those on the first disc are in stereo and were apparently reissued from a previous edition and those on the second disc are in mono but had never been released anywhere before. You also get the opening and closing themes by Shimonari Satoko in various versions (Tv size, album version, Instrumental version, alternate Columbia version, music box version...) and the songs "Mizu-iro no sora e" and "Namida no Naka Kanashimi yo". There is even the Birthday song sung by the cast.

The only songs not included are the foreign theme songs, but then this is a purely Japanese product, so it is only natural.

A must have for any fan of the series !"
