As Japanese, I want to hand down the legend band to world.

"X Japan, off course in Japan even now it is legend band. Since one of the band, that is, Hide(guitar) was death shockingly, all the Japanese have known about the wonderful band again.The most wonderful thing of XJAPAN will be the combination of hard rock and classical music. In the world, there are a lot of bands that can play wonderful rock, but there is not the bands that can play with beautiful classical style sounds except XJAPAN. Why could XJAPAN play such beautiful combination music? The answer is YOSHIKI(drums and piano). Since boy, he have studied many music instrument professionally(classical piano, violin, trumpet etc)thefore he knew about the beauty of classical music and the composition skill.About the beautiful sounds you must know in music[endless rain][say anything].
The album is the latter term for XJAPAN. Terefore the composition ways changed to diffrent way as compared to former style, that is, a lot of ballade songs and in composition YOSHIKI used computer when make song.As Japanese, I recommend XJAPAN. I think that the band is NO1 now.Thank you for reading my poor writing."

"As a huge X fan, I may be slightly biased, but believe me when I say that Dahlia is a classic. Few bands have the ability to be technically exact and emotionally moving to such a degree. Yoshiki and hide are both geniuses; to have them in the same band just reinforces why X Japan made the kind of impact on Japanese music that they did. The title track is my personal favourite and showcases all of what X do best - incredible guitar work, effective string arrangements, unbelieveable drumming and moving melodies. Every song is a highlight, however. 'Scars' is fast-paced and rocking; 'White Poem' is seductive and mysterious; 'Tears' is the kind of song that goes beyond the emblem of classic into the realm of the greatest musical moments of all time. 'Forever Love' is an acoustic version of a tune recognised by many thanks to the 'X' anime, and is a fitting closer to an album that never stops pulling those strings that make you want to sob. The opening violins of 'Tears' alone are enough to send anyone into a state of unabashed sentimentality. One of the greatest albums ever? I would argue so. Worth anyone's money. It feels like so much more than just a collection of songs."

Simply The Best CD Ever!!!!!

"This CD is not only ballads, it also has the greatests Rock songs I have ever heard. I own their 4 CDs and belive me, this is one of the bests. All the songs are UNIQUE, FANTASTIC AND GREAT. 1.- DAHLIA: Fast Rock, Too Cool, One of the bests of the CD:
2.- SCARS: Music by Hide, Fast Rock, even better than Dahlia, The best one of the CD.
3.- Longing: A ballad, but a really good one, even for HARD ROCK FANS.
4.- Rusty Nail: Magnific, something between Visual Rock and Piano.
5.- White Poem I: NOt so good, maybe the only boring one.
6.- CRUCIFY MY LOVE: For me one of the Best ballads, great piano in this song.
7.- Tears: THE BEST BALLAD, THAT'S IT.
8.- WRIGGLE: This is only music, but too cool, by PATA and HEATH.
9.- DRAIN: Lyrics by HIDE and TOSHI, Music by HIDE and HEATH, this is for me, the 2nd best song.
10.- FOREVER LOVE: Too good, but prefer the Rock Version, this one is only TOSHI with some Violins, but it sounds great. Belive me this album ROCKS!!!!!!!, such as X-JAPAN."

"This album is the last official studio album put out by X Japan. It is a departure from their last studio album "jealousy", which was more progressive metal. This album sounds like a mix of techno, industrial, and metal. You can tell the direction all the musiciains are going to go in their respective solo careers when listening to this cd since its more diverse than previous releases.

Its my least favorite X Japan CD, but I think its underrated at the same time. My favorite tracks are "Dahlia" and "Rusty Nail". I would suggest getting "Blue Blood" and working from there. If you like the harder stuff, get "Vanishing Vision" as well, and if you like the progressive stuff get "Jealousy" and the "Art of Life" single."

X Japan's Final Masterpiece

"This was X Japan's final studio album. It took about 5 years to make, and it shows in the overall quality of this album. The band spent their time pouring their heart and soul into this recording, tweaking it to perfection. This album is so great, it makes me sad to think that the band will never record any new material... Oh well, life goes on. What X Japan has left behind is more than enough. Here's an overview of the tracks. Sorry, I know other reviewers have done this, but I couldn't resist:DAHLIA: This first track shows that the band's sound has changed from their previous albums (Blue Blood, Jealousy, Etc.), as it is a sort of techno/industrial rock song. However, they still sound great (they always have...). This song manages to be fast paced and emotional at the same time. A great start.SCARS: Another fast paced one, though this is more rock than the previous track. Quick lyrical delivery, I like this one a little more than DAHLIA.Longing~Togireta Melody~: One of the things that X Japan is best known for is their ability to play fast paced rock songs one minute, then switch to emotionally moving ballads the next. This is one of those ballads, and it doesn't fail to deliver. Personally, I'm not really a fan of ballads, but X Japan does them right. I love this one.Rusty Nail: My favorite song on the album. Awesome vocals, amazing guitar and drum work, it's powerful, emotional, and ass kicking all at once. Definetly one of X Japan's best.White Poem I: It's hard to describe this track's sound. It's slow, sort of dark, but with piano, and synthesized drum beats. An interesting listen.CRUCIFY MY LOVE: Another ballad, and a really sad one. The piano and violin work, coupled with the stirring vocals, really drives this one home. Very quiet, very emotional.Tears: X Japan's most well known ballad, it's been called the greatest ballad of all time by their fans, and I can see why. Yoshiki, the band's leader and drummer/piano player, wrote this song about his father, who commited suicide when he was only 10. The chorus, "Dry your tears with love", is enough to bring a person to tears. You would have to have a heart of stone not to feel something from this one. Yoshiki reads a poem about his father at the end, bringing the song to a moving climax. Amazing. Simply amazing.WRIGGLE: A short, heavy, instrumental techno/industrial track. Great but short.DRAIN: Oh, this song kicks so much [arse]! Fast, with intense vocals and furious guitar and synthesized drum work. "Let me drain!"Forever Love Acoustic Version: I have a special place in my heart for this one. This was the first song by X Japan I ever heard. It was the song that got me interested in X Japan to begin with. It was the closing of the X anime movie, I was so moved by it that I had to find out more about X Japan. And, here I am today, an X Japan fan:). Actually, the version from the X movie is the version with guitars and drums, this vesrion is just the orchestra performing with Toshi, the lead singer, singing the vocals over that. Quiet, and beautiful.Well, I hope that says enough. Don't hesitate to buy this album by X Japan, the band that changed the sound of J-Rock forever."
