A Great CD.

"This is a great CD. Not as good as Vol. 3 or 4, but still agreat CD. Here's how I review the songs. 1. Undertaker - 4 Stars -Good song. I've never heard him enter the ring with this song, but it's pretty cool. The narraration really makes the song sound good.2. Stone Cold - 5 Stars - Excellent! This song rocks! Hands down the best song on the CD! Stone Colds interjections are great and the song is awesome.3. Ahmed Johnson - 4 Stars - I like this song. The guitar playing is good and it has a good beat to it.4. Marc Mero & Sable - 2 Stars - A pretty dumb song. It's lone saving grace is the wildcat roar at the beginning, which is pretty cool.5. Bret Hart - 3 Stars - This song is okay. The song that he entered the ring to was much better. Still a decent song.6. Vader - 5 Stars - One of my favorites. The song is great, and I love the beginning.7. Mankind - 4 Stars - A cool song. Mankind's interjections are hilarious and it's pretty funny how the whole song changes in the middle.8. Dude Love - 3 Stars - A good song. It's pretty good at the beginning but then can get sort of annoying.9. Faarooq - 5 Stars - I love this song. It really grows onto you. When you get past all the repeated words you can tell it has a really good beat.10. Rocky Maivia - 4 Stars - A pretty good song. A successful beginning to a great string of songs. This song is best when the guitar's playing.11. Sycho Sid - 3 Stars - An okay song. Some parts are pretty cool, but some parts are pretty dumb.12. Ken Shamrock - 5 Stars - A great song. The next version is better, but not by much.13. Flash Funk - 1 Star - Stupid! Just plain stupid!14. Sunny - 1 Star - Also stupid! Even worse than Flash Funk!15. Shawn Michaels - 4 Songs - Cool! An upbeat song that is funny and cool. All in all, this is a great buy. If you are a Diehard WWF fan, then you have to have this CD. If you don't like the WWF you might still like this CD. This is the start to the great WWF CDs that have followed."

WWF Volume 2 is the least best CD that was ever made

"heres a rating on each track on WWF The Music Volume 21. Undertaker - Cool theme
2. Stone Cold Steve Austin - Good
3. Ahmed Johnson - The best theme on the track!!
4. Wildman Marc Mero & Sable - Same as the track on Vol 3
5. Bret "Hit Man" Hart - Not the best singing, but good beat
6. Vader - Good theme
7. Mankind - OK
8. Dude Love - Same as song on Vol 3
9. Faarooq - Repeats same lyrics over and over but overall not a bad song
10. Rocky Maivia - Probably the 2nd best theme on the CD
11. Sycho Sid - Same as song on Full Metal except over an extra minute
12. Ken Shamrock - Not much of a difference as the song on Vol 3
13. Flask Funk - Horrible. [bad] lyrics and beat
14. Sunny - Good theme for any Sunny fan
15. Shawn Michaels - Bad theme. The one on Full Metal was much much better than this"

This CD is pretty cool

"Nevermind all of the bandwagon jumpers who says this CD sucks. I've been a wrestling follower since i was born and know a thing or two about wrestling and it's music. I picked up this CD when it first came outand was pretty cheesed off when they had those remixes ( especially Austin's, ihappen to like his 2nd theme better than his current one ). After multiple listens, this CD really grows on you. Though not better than Full Metal, this is thebest you're gonna get if you are looking for themes from the 96/97 WWF era ( other than the net ). Best theme=Shamrock's!!!"

Not Exactly The "WWF Music"

"You like listening to wrestling music? I know I do. Jim Johnston has put together some classic pieces that we diehard fans will never forget. Who can forget "Real American"? The opening notes for The Ultimate Warrior? The simple gong for The Undertaker? In hindsight, it's incredibly cheesy, but I think wrestling fans are rarely embarassed by the condescending masses.

WWF: THE MUSIC - VOLUME 2 is a most bizarre CD. Half the tracks aren't exactly entrance music. Some inexplicably have a a wrestler's vocals mixed in, one's missing the vocals, and a few aren't even the real music.

1) UNDERTAKER - Not even the real music. It's a weird orchestral variation of Taker's entrance, with his 1994 ROYAL RUMBLE speech periodically mixed in. It's quite good, but just not the real thing.

2) STONE COLD - The original 1996 theme (my favorite), but with some of Austin's vocal bits mixed in. Out of nowhere in the middle of the theme, Austin tells us to "start begging for some mercy". Um, okay.

3) AHMED JOHNSON - Music only, and remains a real energizing piece of music. This guy's music always got me pumped when I was a kid.

4) WILDMAN MARC MERO - His second theme (Sable used the original version during her 2003 stint). Similar to Sable's Vol. 3 track, but slower-paced.

5) BRET HART ("You Start The Fire") - I think this was Hart's 1996 retirement music video. Not a bad song, actually. Would've liked Hitman's entrance theme, but that was on Volume 1, so whatever.

6) VADER - Like Ahmed Johnson & Marc Mero, just the real theme with no variations. Good theme, in my opinion.

7) MANKIND - A very strange piece, but probably a treat for hardcore fans. Like Austin's, this is the original 1996 theme with the occasional vocal. However, the real bonus is that this track includes Mankind's original piano music that played when he won a match. To my knowledge, the only time the piano aftermath has been released.

8) DUDE LOVE - Exactly the same as the Volume 3 release, which is just the original 1997 song.

9) NATION OF DOMINATION - The entire 3-minute track, which doesn't change much throughout. However, the JC Ice and Wolfie D rap is nowhere to be found. It's just the bassline score with the background vocals.

10) ROCKY MAIVIA - The Rock's 2nd theme, first played during the 1997 Royal Rumble. A very good track. If you listen to the beat and musical composition, it sounds very much like the themes he had throughout his career.

11) SYCHO SID - Very similar to Undertaker's, where it has some random monologue bits from Sid and a variation of the original music. About a minute, the real theme plays. Entertaining, but a bit weird.

12) KEN SHAMROCK - His very 1st entrance theme, which is a slower-paced and less-powerful version of his Volume 3 music. Shamrock only used this entrance music for about a year, starting back in May 1997.

13) FLASH FUNK - Believe it or not, there were two versions of 2 Cold Scorpio's funky WWF music. Sadly, WWF picked the inferior original to put on this album. The problem is that there's too much rhythm and singing, but not a good score to complement the entrance.

14) SUNNY - You know the song, and you either like it, or you don't. Good old 90s corny family-friendly sexuality.

15) SHAWN MICHAELS - Pay attention: This Is Not The Theme You Hear On TV! This is some unbelievably bad version with bad music, horrible women background vocals, and some terrible male singer. I think this is HBK singing this song himself; do yourself a favor and don't listen to this!

I love WWF/WWE music as the next fan. But half of this CD isn't even the real music. It's mostly Jim Johnston's artistic re-interpretations of the real themes. While I enjoyed some of them, there's not enough to warrant a purchase. Just buy an old WWF videogame from around 1997, and listen to the music that way."

"This cd is good if you're a wrestling fan. The undertaker can get you intrested as if you were watching a movie. Stone cold's theme is great. Ahmed johnson is so so. Sable's is good. You start the fire is another story. Vader's is great Because it get's you're blood pumping. Mankind's is funny. Nation's is good. Mavia is great. Sid is good. Shamerocks is great. Flash funk is good. Sunny's s**ks. Hbk regular version is better than this one."
