Synopsis

Album Description
2008 album from this new project featuring acclaimed composer Craig Armstrong and Scott Fraser. Craig Armstrong's previous work includes Baz Luhrman's Moulin Rouge / Romeo & Juliet films as well as working with Bjork, Massive Attack, Madonna, U2 and others. This album features 12 tracks that were made in his studio using a collection of vintage synths and features vocals by French actress Laurence Ashley, who he worked with on the film Kiss Of The Dragon, and long time French collaborator Lucy Pullin. As a result, this album is a mix of haunting keyboard music, passionate vocals and soundscapes similar to the likes of 80's Synth pop icons such as Human League, Visage and 70's Kraftwerk mixed with modern day Euro-Electro soundtracks. Annalog.

CD Reviews

A unique masterpiece

(5 out of 5 stars)

"To me Craig Armstrong is a genius, with a supreme musical taste, really recognizable...

When I heard the first samples from this album I knew it would have satisfied my every single musical cell in my dna...

Electronic, married of beautiful sounds, rich of counterpointing melodies...

Perfect female vocals in the right places and in a right balance between songs and instrumentals...

The atmosphere is high ever-after from the start till the end, closing with a magical moment, Winona Falls, perhaps the number which is the whole cd worthwhile....

I don't know if I'm going to longing for a follow-up or let this masterpiece be the only one...

Timeless and indicated to be listened in melancholic rich moments..."
