CD ReviewsTremendous tone R. J. Marsella | California | 11/08/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "Willis Jackson has a rich deep tone rivaling any tenor player I can think of. His gutsy blues style is her complemented with some latin and calypso numbers that demonstrate the range of this fine musician. He is backed by a fabulous group of Jazz allstars on every track. Kenny Burrell's guitar playing is particularly outstanding on the tracks where he is featured. Jackson is part Sonny Rollins and part Ben Webster and that aint bad."
