Willie Cobbs will always be remembered for his mega Blues hit, "You Don't Love Me" (Yes I know). That immortal Blues classic has been recorded by everyone from John Mayall, Magic Sam, Ike & Tina, Otis Rush, Junior Wells to the Allman Brothers. Even Beyonce and Rihanna have recorded versions. For almost 60 years he has been recording singles and albums. His 1994 classic, "Down To Earth" on Rooster Blues Records proved he was much more than a one-hit-wonder. It's been 18 years since his last album and the 87 year old insisted that it be recorded the way he wanted. Backed by members of the Hi Rhythm Section band, his new album "Butler Boy Blues" has him at his best. As Willie said...."I may be 87 years old but I want people to know I ain't dead yet.... I can still play and sing!!"
