The Indonesian Katamari Soundtrack

"...Well, it could be. White Shoes & The Couples Company is an Indonesian musical group with a unique brand of perky dreampop. Check out any of their several cheesy videos and you'll know what they're about. This band can't not put a smile on your face.

Their self-titled debut has finally been released stateside. This catalog of songs is best described as breezy and summery. Rest assured, it's good all year long. The swaying, upbeat "Sabda Alam" is infused with a little jazz and a little bossa nova, reminiscent of Cibo Matto. "Senandung Maaf" has those perfect "doo doo doo doos" that one would expect to hear in the aforementioned video game or, perhaps, an elevator. "Tentang Cita" is something you can truly line dance to with pride. Seriously though, White Shoes & The Couples Company is downright fun and worth the listen.

"This is a greate compilation from the artist. Unless the cd box is a cardboard material, the music in the CD are good ordened and balanced.

Some songs are in english, other in indonesian (i think), but the good voice from this guys, you love it.

If you listen to Fresones Rebeldes before, i promise than you love this tittle.

The music are soft, and the lyrics don't are to complicated. I recomend this CD to listen when you drive or when you are working in your house or oficce."
