"Information on this group and album is very hard to find anywhere, but an old tape of Hearts of Space I had, had the track "Silvery Horizon" that was always one of the best peices of ambient music I've ever heard(!) It blends space and melody like I've never heard, emotional and evocative of breathtakingly emmense "snowy white clouds". A Chillingly delicious 3 minutes, you want to go on for an hour. I was determined to find it. Well, I saw the CD cover online and wasn't surprised by the pristine wintery immage. BUT, I was surprised to hear so much of a jazzy fusion band behind most of the album. This is obviously a band of many talents,
all top notch jazz players, yet fortunately for us, so freely imaginative and knowlegeable as to create worlds that we label "new age"- A sign of the times when this record came out (80's, I'm guessing, when this would fall under "electronic/easy listening jazz"). "Sivery Horizon" and the surprising acoustic guitar track "Sherwood Forrest" are the most far from jazz and both got airplay. But, It all still sounds refreshing, as wintery images are not explored very much, or ,as well as in this work. Basically, this is perfect music for sipping your congac while you veiw the snow covered mountains from the windows of your cozy chalet - with your sweetie.
Highly recommended ..if you can find a copy. Good luck!"
