CD ReviewsSwedish tristesse to keep you warm in a winter night Joachim Lyssens | Leuven, Belgium | 11/08/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "I found this CD in the "sales department" of my local music store (already!). I think it's because of the not-so-appealing artist name (Kristofer Aström, my God) that nobody wants to buy it. It's a nice, athmospherical, heart-warming singer-songwriter CD though. Mainly acoustic, it can be compared with Palace, Sophia, maybe even Spain. If you know that these are my favourite bands, you know that this CD is worth listening to." Atmosphere JaL | Linköping, Sweden | 08/13/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "I brought this cd with me when I went to USA. I played it to a girl and right away she fell in love (with the album, not me....), thus I didn't get to bring it back home (damn american girls). It's got some really nice songs like Poor young man's heart and Major hombre. If you're already depressed this album'll get you even lower... broken heart? Then this album's for you. All the lyrics are about love gone wrong, but they're still good. As for the atmosphere it's 'airy' (or something..), not a lot of instruments, mainly acoustic guitar. It's good... really good! Also check out Hederos & Hellberg for some more good depressing swedish music..."
