CD Reviews

Tour-du-Force of Rockin' Music

"Webb's "Town and Country" is a top-notch collection of seminal tunes that helped shape modern music. Unafraid to stand up to the whores and posers of the industry, Webb and his Econoline take real music to the people. Buy this CD for yourself. Buy copies for your friends. Put some in storage for when real music is a collector's item and it will be worth a fortune."
A terrific CD! Webb has taste.

"When I first saw this, I was afraid it would be a forgettable album made primarily to fulfill contractual requirements (like, e.g., Joan Jett's "The Hit List"). Not so! The cover of "Slow Death," an old Flamin' Groovies tune, is worth the price of the entire album. The more I've listened, the more it's grown on me. Buy this and you won't be disappointed."

"From old ballads like "Streets of Laredo" to instrumentals like "Goldfinger,". Webb takes us on a tour of some of the best rock and country of modern music. I bought this album because I liked Webb, but Webb opened my eyes to a lot of music I had never heard, and now I love this album for itself as much as love the rest of my Webb collection. While this album does contain some weird spoken moments (yes you get the CREDO)that are strangely surreal, I have even gotten to the point where I can speak them along with Webb that is how much I listen to this album. Trust me, you'll like it so buy it."
