Waldo was a studio band put together by super producers Willie Lester & Rodney Browne. Waldo was comprised of James T Brown (bass, lead vocals), Tyrone Lester (lead vocals), Calvin Koko Brunson (keyboards/synthesizers), Melvin Harrod (guitars), and Perk Jacobs (drums). This, the lone album by Waldo, is a mixture of up tempo funky grooves with a couple of delicious soulful mid tempo tracks that showcase the bands natural talents and the tight and infectious production of Lester & Brown.
