Has his own style that incorporates a wide range of blues styles, and all very well. I keep going back and forth over whether I like this album, or his first album, The Volker Strifler Band best. Both are excellent. He has a great live band and if you every get a chance to see him at the Redwood City Blues Jam (Northern California), or anyplace else, don't miss it! When he gets out his Jazzmaster for some slide... everybody stand back, the place will rock."
