"I first saw Vlasis when he was playing for the Native American Band, Brule in 1999. At the time, he was doing double duty playing drum and guitar. I got a little more of a taste when I starting seeing Brule in concert and Vlasis would play his electric guitar. I wanted to hear more! But he just didn't get the opportunity to spread his wings. When he, Eagle, and Shane showed up at the Double Tree for a Fan Club party, the first thing Vlasis did was sit down at the Piano and play! Why wasn't he being utilized in the band more? Not long after, he left Brule and it was a big mystery where he was. Thank God for faith, hope, and love from Deanne, Vlasis started playing again. I have been on a journey with him now for the past year, watching him polish his talent, seeing nameless songs get names, until finaly a new CD emerged - Plain Sight. Mellow, easy going and upbeat, the CD is a simple guitar will many different styles of music. True talent shines through on this one! My favorites are Feel, Santorini Summer, Smile, Someday, and River of Love. I can only imagine what he has up his sleeve on the next CD but I know it will be a success too."
