CD ReviewsVirus - 'Revelation' (Spalax) Mike Reed | USA | 02/05/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "Originally released in 1970 as this was the band's first record.To avoid confusion,this was the short lived German psychedlic outfit that put out two lp's and then LATER had a compilation or two see the light of day.I thought 'Revelation' was a fine piece of work,with it's killer guitar,top notch keyboard and improvised flute solos.Very early '70's-ish indeed.Tracks that made me want to NEVER let go of my copy were the twelve-minute spacey title cut "Revelation",the more conventional "Burning Candle" and "Nur Noch Zwei".Should appeal to fans of Agitation Free,Frumpy,early Pink Floyd and maybe Ash Ra Temple.A good trip...so come on and hop aboard!"
