Breathtaking

"I've never been one to really follow reviews as they reflect the taste of the individual writing it. However, it is very rare that I can come across a CD in which I can enjoy virtually every track. More rare, is to come across an artist that makes you want to learn the language the song is written in. Virginio does just that. His entire CD breathes emotion. Even if you don't speak italian, each track evokes a sentiment that causes you to understand the artist. My favorite tracks are 'Davvero' (which means 'Indeed' or 'Truly') and 'Comme Promesso'. Virginio keeps it simple without a bombardment of instruments; 'Promesso' is mainly piano. To call Virginio the next Tiziano Ferro would be a disservice as he has a style all his own. My only hope is, like his other italian counterparts (Laura Pausini, Nek, Eros), he produces a spanish version of this CD."
