Synopsis

Album Description
FROM SINGING WAITRESS TO SINGING FOR GEORGE CLOONEY AND BRAD PITT.
Victoria Hart a former singing waitress and citizen of the world was born in California, but moved to England at the age of five and France at the age of seven. Having grown up with a fondness and love for jazz, swing and blues music, Victoria pursued her passion in London working as a waitress at the famous Naked Turtle restaurant as a jazz- singing waitress where she honed her craft and began recording her debut Whatever Happened To Romance? The CD is collection of new songs (with the exception of the Kinks' classic Sunny Afternoon) set against a backdrop of pop, jazz, swing and blues. The young and talented Victoria dazzled celebrities George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Her performance captivated the media and the buzz spread quickly.

CD Reviews

Lovely and talented and what a musical find

"I am very impressed. I had heard about Victoria Hart's performance at the Ocean 13's Cannes film festival party, and that all the big star guests were bowled over by this very young woman's talent. In addition to singing she co-wrote many of the songs. All I can say is her smooth lyrical voice, with her clever, modern day girl lyrics, plus that big band sound is intoxicating. I cant believe she isnt 20 years old yet. I love the title song but all her songs are lovely to listen to, she has the kind of vocal quality that pulls you in and makes you feel good."
Greatest Discovery

"This teenager has got it!! She has talent to burn and she has that extra something special that all the greats have: style and charisma!!! It also doesn't hurt that the songs are fresh and fun. Jazz and swing with modern lyrics mixed with light pop makes for an engaging and infectuous affair. Not to mention addictive! I listen to this CD everyday and I can't get enough. I want more!!! Want?? No!! I NEED more!!!!"
Superb Debut For Jazz Songstress Hart

""Whatever Happened to Romance" is the spectacular first record from Victoria Hart, whose debut was heralded with lots of press.

That's due to the fact that she was a singing waitress at a restaurant in London, where she was discovered. This record is the result and if this is any indication, she has quite a career ahead of her. The title track, "Wonderful," "Chocolates and Strwaberries," "Port In A Storm, "Not My Fault," and others demonstrate a sweet, carefree voice that can make any song her own."
