Jazz Master Victor Feldman swings and bops with authority

"This "meat and potatoes" jazz recording has the feel and style of one of the great multi-talented players in the twentieth century. Feldman delivers the piano with depth. As an equally accomplished drummer and vibraphonist, his piano work is played with strong rythmn and harmonic distinction. Check out his stylings on the traditional "Limehouse Blues"...precision chops man!...to his cover of Stevie Wonders "Isn't She Lovely". It's the taste you'd expect from a jazz legend who played with the likes of Joni Mitchell, The L.A. Express and Steely Dan. You won't be disappointed! The content and the production of Victor's last released recording, before departing this planet, will thrill every player or listener, at every level. Grab it!"

"This is the finest example that Concord squeezed out of this genius. It features a terribly underplayed Jack Sheldon too, but sadly, little of his horn playing. You will see deja vu on reviews of this cd when it comes to the Limehouse Blues, because it is simply one of the best variations of the theme ever! There are albums on everyones tongue, this is a real gem for its pure rhythm and melody. The samples will tell all!"
