Synopsis

Product Description
Vibravoid are still on their mission for peace and present their new album Mushroom Mantras just 10 months after the masterpiece album Wake Up Before You Die. What Vibravoid already indicated with songs like The Tascam Mantra or Three Minutes For A Free Tibet on their debut album 2001 is continued on Mushroom Mantras as a complete album. Mushroom Mantras are, in the Buddhist tradition, small mushrooms that are painted with blessings and prayers and that is how the album is meant to be understood. Mushroom Mantras even contains with the universal peace mantra Sarveshaam Svastir Bhavatu and Om Gang Ganpataye Nama two of the most important and ancient mantras of the Hindu culture. All songs of the album are concepted as a mantra and form a musical overall art work, as it has not left Düsseldorf so far. Electric Sitars, Tablas. Mellotron and Theremin determine the hallucinogenic sound and invite you to a trip into the colorful world of hippies and flower children, because Mushroom Mantras sounds as if Pink Floyd's Piper At The Gates Of Dawn has been produced as a pop-art version in Bollywood. In addition to the extremely danceable mantra interpretations, there are Psychedelic, Space and Acid Rock of the finest ... with a proper shot of pop appeal and hymnic melodies! Using an assortment of guitar effects, tape echoes, phasing units, analogue synthesisers, Bontempi organs, toy Vocoders, Roland drummachine and a 4 track tape recorder Vibravoid tried to seek out and explore the unlimited cosmos of electric meditation music and studio experiments... which at that time predate the comeback of Kraut and Kosmische Musik for many years.
