Synopsis

Product Description
How did it feel to walk daily across many miles of plains? What were some of the joys as well as the trials? Trek: A Nashville Tribute to the Pioneers explores the lives of the Saints after they left Nauvoo. Hear the pioneers' story as you've never heard it before. Experience Porter Rockwell's heartache as he longs for the happy days with Joseph. Imagine a beautiful day on the plains, sun shining warmly and wind blowing gently through the grass. Feel the joy of safely reaching the Salt Lake Valley, as well as the sorrow for loved ones left behind. Understand the pioneers' story through powerful songs and narration. Trek is the sequel to 2005's Joseph: A Nashville Tribute to the Prophet, seen in concert by more than 100,000 people across the United States. Trek: A Nashville Tribute to the Pioneers continues the story, with world-class songs and musicians.

CD Reviews

A good as "Joseph"

"Really outstanding music. One of the unique features of this album as well as Jason Deere's other album is that most of the lyrics are "first-person", or in other words, told by the artist as though he or she were there at the time this happened. I find that it helps me think about how I'd feel if I were there at that time- it takes me there.
