It was an undertaking of almost biblical proportions; gathering together nearly fifty readers and allocating to each sections of both the New and Old Testaments and combining these with classical music. That undertaking fell to producer Gordon Lorenz, who over a period of a year recorded several hundred hours of material. He then spent many weeks working in the studio editing down it down to present a package spread over a total of nineteen discs. These were originally released as two separate packages but have been combined here, together with a bonus CD of hymns, to present the ultimate New Testament and Psalms boxset.
